Marcelito Pomoy, 25 years old from Imus, Cavite has been named today the Grand Winner of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2.
For his final performance, Pomoy known for his falsetto voice sang both the male and female parts of “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
It was enough for text voters from all over the Philippines to adjudged him as the winner after getting 19.56% of the total votes cast. He beat 13 other grand finalists to take home P2 million in cash prize.
The Grand Finals was held at the jam-packed Araneta Coliseum.
Second place goes to Tap Dancing duo Happy Feet who got 18.32% of the votes while Dance troupe Freestylers came in a distant third getting 9.46% of the votes.

The panel of judges is composed of Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas, Queen of Talk Kris Aquino, and former ABS-CBN President Freddie Garcia while Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano take duty as the hosts of the show.
