Jericho Rosales is one of the most sought after leading men of his generation. He was born on September 22, 1979 in the province of Quezon. His first taste of fame was when he was declared the winner of a male beauty contest in a noontime variety show when he was just 17 years old.
With his humble beginnings, good looks and an impeccable acting abilities, Jericho was soon the toast of the local entertainment industry. He joined Star Circle 4 in the year 1997, and easily made his presence felt with his heartfelt performances in drama shows such as Maalaala Mo Kaya.
He was then given a big break with the Telenovela Pangako Sayo with onscreen partner Kristine Hermosa. The series was a huge hit and their team up achieved instant stardom. The series was not only successful in the Philippines, it was also critically-acclaimed other South East Asian Countries where it was shown.
Jericho further proved his acting mettle with such films as Panaghoy sa Suba, Tanging Yaman and Nasaan Ka Man, and received citation for his character portrayals. Furthermore, he was nominated for his performance in the movie Tanging Yaman, by every award-giving body in the country.

When he is not busy with his showbiz committments, Jericho can be seen in the beach doing his second love, surfing.
