Hollywood actress Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday night for alleged substance abuse.
According to reports, a 911 call was placed at 10:45 PM Monday night and paramedics immediately responded to Moore's L.A. home. After assessing her for a half hour, she was transported to a local hospital. Furthermore, sources say that Moore's health issues are substance-abuse related. The actress is said to be "seeking further professional assistance" and will be placed in a facility to address her condition.
In a press statement, Moore's representatives said their client was looking for help to combat fatigue. "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends," the reps said.
The actress filed for divorce from husband Ashton Kutcher in November last year after nearly six years of marriage.
