Jeremy Renner pays PNoy a visit

Wearing a Barong Tagalog, Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner pays Philippine President Benigno Aquino III a courtesy call Wednesday morning. Renner is currently in the country for the filming of the spy film The Bourne Legacy where he plays the lead character.

Renner and the film's production team was accompanied by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino to Malacanang. During the meeting with the president, Renner and the production team extended their appreciation to Aquino for the Filipinos' hospitality. They also said that they made a good decision when they picked the Philippines as a filming location.   

Filming scenes for The Bourne Legacy started last month in various parts of Metro Manila. Some of the filming locations included Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Marikina Market, San Andres Market, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan and Pasay Taft. Renner is yet to film some scenes at the Jones Bridge in Manila. Some portion of the film were also shot in El Nido, Palawan.
